The extra mile...
At COOL UK our dedicated team offer a service second to none.
Through experience we recognise that our young people often bring a complex range of external needs / issues which have to be addressed in order to help stabilise their life.
To help meet these needs we:
- follow up child protection issues with our designated officers
- follow up non attenders
- liaise with social workers
- provide a confidential counselling service
- provide a mentoring service
- provide a 'critical friend' service
- work hand in hand with parents / carers
- liaise with all external agencies
Post 16? - It doesnt end there for our young people, we:
- provide transition strategies for our students by working closely with Connexions, Prince's Trust etc.
- offer apprenticeships where appropriate
- provide bursaries for continued post 16 tuition
- offer a free drop in service for all students where necessary e.g. advice, c.v. writing, assistance with job applications etc.
